Virtual therapy for adults in Arizona
Trying harder stopped working a while ago.
I'm Brittaney Wood, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) offering virtual therapy to adults in Arizona. I work with ADHD, OCD, anxiety, eating and body image, life transitions, and couples. Usually more than one at once, because that's how they tend to show up.
$200 per 50-minute session · Virtual, anywhere in Arizona · Private pay, superbills via Mentaya · Free 15-minute consultation
Where people usually start
You don't need to know what to call it.
Most people don't arrive with a diagnosis. They arrive with something that keeps happening. If one of these sounds familiar, that's enough to start.
You know exactly what you need to do. You still can't make yourself start. ADHD therapy
You check, re-check, or ask for reassurance, even though part of you knows it isn't necessary. OCD therapy and ERP
Everything looks fine from the outside. Inside, your mind doesn't stop. Anxiety therapy
A thought gets stuck, and no amount of reasoning puts it down. Intrusive thoughts and OCD
Food feels complicated in a way that's hard to explain to anyone. Eating and body image
You used to handle everything. Since the baby, the move, or the new role, you can't. Life transitions
Why it's one practice, not five
These rarely show up alone.
ADHD can drive anxiety. Anxiety can feed OCD. Both can change how you eat. It's common to get help for one piece and be sent somewhere else for the rest. I work with the overlap, so you don't have to explain yourself to three different people.
I'll tell you what I'm seeing.
Direct, plain-language feedback. You don't need to know therapy vocabulary, and you won't get vague nodding.
We look at the whole situation.
Symptoms make more sense next to what's around them: sleep, hormones, a new baby, a demanding job, the people you live with.
We build what fits your actual life.
Strategies get tested in your real week, then adjusted when they don't work.
How getting started works
1. A free 15-minute consultation
A short call to see whether we're a good fit. Ask anything about how I work, fees, or whether I see what you're dealing with.
2. Your first session
Fifty minutes by secure video. We look at what's actually happening and what you want to be different.
3. We set the rhythm together
Not everyone needs weekly sessions. We decide how often makes sense and adjust as things change. A standing time is available if you want one. More about how I work

Hi, I'm Brittaney.
Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and disordered eating in adults. A lot of the women I work with are highly capable. They get things done. They're responsible, thoughtful, and used to figuring things out on their own. They're also exhausted. My job is to understand what's actually happening before deciding what to do about it. Virtual practice only. I work alongside psychiatrists, primary care providers, and dietitians, with your written permission. More about me
Do you see clients in Phoenix, Tucson, or elsewhere in Arizona?

Do you take insurance?
Not for Arizona clients. I'm private pay, and I work with Mentaya so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance.
How much does therapy cost?

Do I have to come every week?
No. We decide together how often makes sense and adjust as things change.
Do I need to know what's wrong before I schedule?
No. Describe what keeps happening. Figuring out what it is, and what to do about it, is part of the work.

Always. Sessions are by secure video, for adults located in Arizona at the time of the session.
